Rain Runner

On the run from an abusive stepfather, Elsie Gaines and her little sister seek refuge in the quiet town of Cherish, Montana. They turn to Ariene "Gram" Ebersol who invites them into her home and life. There's just one problem - the woman's grandson. Elsie's heart longs for lasting love and healing, but the only relief comes from running in the rain. Will she learn to trust God - and men - to stay long enough for true healing and peace? Or will the trauma of her past drive her away?

After graduating from Bible college, Lou Ebersol is eager to serve the Lord on the mission field. However, circumstances seem against him. On top of that, his grandmother has taken two mysterious sisters under her wing. Who do the pair behave so strangely? And why is someone seeming to be stalking them?

In a story of pain, loss, and childhood trauma, will three wounded hearts find answers and forgiveness? How can God possibly make them whole when their scars run so deeply? Take a sprint with the rain runner to see that our God is truly the God of redemption.

Reader Comments:

"...[it was] refreshing to read something that I would be willing to let my daughter (14) read without hesitation. I loved that it was biblically sound and so focused on the love that Jesus has for us, as well as what we can gain from forgiveness and trusting Him!"  -Kim H.

"I enjoyed the story; the characters were delightful and funny, the plot was solid and the suspense was well written! I love these characters! Susie is bubbly and sweet, Lou is funny and gentle, and Elsie is strong and helpful!"  -Ali T.
